—Forty years (1955–1991) adjusting to a world that doesn’t want you. The evocation of a harsh but joyful activism, of an all-out war between the sexes, of pirate strategies, of viral languages and of organizations turned against themselves. Slow detachment of the skin and retina, like waking up in another part of your brain. Something that would consist (for Daney as for them) in “washing away the images of all déjà vu, in bringing out (making ooze, highlighting, chasing) the power that wanted them and the one that would like them not to. surprise us even more”.
