—Forty years (1955–1991) adjusting to a world that doesn’t want you. Something that would consist (for Daney as for them) in “washing away the images of all déjà vu, in bringing out (making ooze, highlighting, chasing) the power that wanted them and the one that would like them not to. surprise us even more”.
